After the gaokao, or the national college entrance exam, high school graduates will decide in July which universities they would like to go to. In an era where information floods everyone, university admission offices across the country have to rack the brains and turn on the charms, either it's the delicacies found in campus canteens, or it's the beauty of the older students that will entice high school graduates to apply for their universities.
