A woman in East China's Anhui province went on trial for allegedly murdering her husband with the assistance of eight others who were contacted through the Internet.
The woman, surnamed Hu, allegedly asked a suspect surnamed Song to kill her husband in September last year having had conflicts with him. Hu knew Song and became friends through QQ, an online chatting tool, according to prosecutors.
It was claimed Hu promised to give Song 240,000 yuan as a reward for the killing and Song enlisted the other suspects through QQ messages.
Song's recruitment message was forwarded via QQ by five others including two female adolescents. Two men were finally secured to kill Hu's husband on Dec 22, according to prosecutors.
The Huainan Intermediate People's Court did not deliver a verdict at the hearing last Thursday, the Xin'an Evening News reported.
