Fourth panda dies of distemper outbreak in Xi'an

A veterinarian is seen treating a panda which is ill after contracting a measle-like virus at the wild animal rescue and research center in Zhouzhi county, Northwest China's Shaanxi province. Local authorities confirmed on Monday, Jan 5, 2015 that giant panda named Da Bao has died after contracting the virus, bringing the panda death toll from the disease to two.
