Migrant worker makes a better life at home

"My restaurant was packed with diners at weekends before the president's visit and now every day it is full," said Wang.

The number of customers doubled following Xi's visit. On July 1 alone, 520 people dined at Wang's restaurant.

"Visitors became so many that my home alone couldn't receive all of them, so I persuaded fellow villagers to start farmhouse restaurants too," said Wang.

Fourteen more have opened in Wang's village following Xi's visit and Wang is more than willing to help his neighbors run their enterprises because when he first started his own he received a lot of help from local county officials.
