Temperatures in North China to fall sharply
BEIJING -- Most parts of north China will experience a rapid drop in temperatures together with snow or rain over the next two days, the country's meteorological authority forecast on Sunday.
Temperatures will drop in northwestern, northern and northeastern China, in some areas by as much as eight degrees Celsius.
Freezing wind is also expected to sweep across most parts of North China.
Snow or sleet will hit northeastern China, with heavy snow expected in Jilin province.
The center also forecast torrential rain in parts of Yunnan province, warning residents of landslides and mud-rock flows.
