Several children injured in knife-attack in NW China

XI'AN -- A knife-wielding assailant wounded several children in Northwest China's Shaanxi province Friday noon.

The knife attack occurred near Sanlicun primary school in the city of Hanzhong, according to witnesses.

Exact number of the injured and details about the assailant are yet to be known.

Investigation is underway.
