Mark Hughes has 30 years of experience in newspapers, television, radio, news agencies and new media. He has worked as a senior producer and editor for BBC television and radio, CNN International and ITN.
He was an international news editor at Bloomberg News, chief reporter for the South China Morning Post and later news editor for its sister paper, the Sunday Morning Post.
He also worked at the Independent newspaper in London and spent spells working with ARD television in Germany, Reuters Television and Associated Press Television.
