Borges in multimedia

Art beat in August

Leading British young visual theater company Idle Motion is going to present Borges and I at Guangzhou Opera House. The play explores the life of Argentine writer Jorge Borges (1899-1986), intertwining this narrative with a love story of a couple meeting at a book group. Integrating creative stagecraft and video projection, hundreds of books are transformed into a plethora of images, from a flock of birds to a city skyline, from an airplane to a universe of libraries.
