2014 Beijing International Triathlon

Distance: 1.5km Swim: 40km Cycle; 10km Run Sprint Distance: 750m Swim; 20km Cycle; 5km Run

The Beijing International Triathlon is the only qualifying event for the notoriously tough Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon in Asia. The 50 top finishers across all divisions will qualify for entry into the 2015 Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon in San Francisco.

Mirror men

Metamorphosis - Mirror, a show by Daniel Lee and Roger Ballen, is on display at the OCT Contemporary Art Terminal Shanghai. Both photographers talk of boundaries between humans and their surrounding environment. New York-based Lee is originally from Taiwan while Ballen is an American, who now lives in South Africa.

Metamorphosis – Mirror by Daniel Lee and Roger Ballen is being held at OCT Contemporary Art Terminal Shanghai. The two photographers share a penchant for the grotesque and have a keen interest in the boundaries separating humans from their surrounding environment. Lee was born in Taiwan and now works in New York, while American Ballen lives in South Africa.
