Chinese, Cambodian artists exchange experience on art

Chinese and Cambodian artists on Tuesday exchanged their experience on calligraphy and painting, aiming at promoting cultural relations between the two counties.

The four visiting Chinese artists led by Yu Zhou, deputy chief of Third Department of Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.

They shared experience with Cambodian artists at the Royal University of Fine Arts.

Yu said the delegation's visit Cambodia was to explore possibilities to further strengthen cultural and people-to-people ties.

Earlier in the day, the delegation met separately with Minister of Culture and Fine Arts Phoeurng Sackona and Ek Sam Ol, president of the Constitutional Council and president of the Cambodia-China Friendship Association.

The officials vowed to further enhance cultural and people-to-people relations between Cambodia and China for the benefits of the two countries and peoples.
