Writer Fu Xiuying, born in the 1970s, is known for her classy and delicate language. Fu cares about traditional Chinese esthetics and subtleness in human emotions. She said that friends have advised her to change her language style for better rendering into a foreign language. But she'd like to stick to what she has been doing to "describe Chinese peoples' emotions and inner world with Chinese-style details and wording".
