It's not news that politicians enjoy reading, or even writing, books. Because of their status, volumes they mention attract attention and some even become best-sellers. Let's see what type of books go on a politician's reading list?

President Xi Jinping has mentioned lots of books during public speeches. He has said he still remembers wonderful chapters and details from Russian writers such as Alexander Pushkin, Leo Tolstoy, Nikolai Gogol and Nikolay Chernyshevsky. He also said he read many books by Greek philosophers when he was young. Literature and history were his passion and he quoted words or stories from Historical Records, The Book of Songs and The Spring and Autumn Annals.
