Zhao Yan, media counselor from the Netherlands Bureau of Tourism Congress in Beijing, said Holland was a treasure land for its rich natural and spiritual resources. With the boom of Chinese outbound tourism, several routes to Holland have been launched.

As part of the "EU Open Days for Young People", the Dutch embassy began a series of Dutch Days events last month, set to end on Saturday.

Jacobi hosted a Pecha Kucha night with the theme "Orange Innovation" at his residence last Wednesday with 10 people from all walks of life delivering speeches about 20 pictures in 6 minutes and 40 seconds.

Pecha Kucha originated in Japan and literally means ‘chit-chat’, which refers to a short and snappy manner of presentation which allows 20 slides to be shown in exactly 20 seconds with a view to grabbing listeners' attention and awakening their curiosity.

The embassy staged a Dutch documentary "Ni hao Holland" on Wednesday. The two star characters, Cherry and Wenwen, were present and chatted with the audience after the screening.
