Sun Beatzz down on Xi'an concert

Tian, the lead vocalist and agent who hails from China, said the band clubbed together to record their first album which proved a great success. They are now self-financing through CD sales and performances.

"It's extremely difficult to sell CDs nowadays, but we sold out 200 on our eighth stop during the China tour, and had to turn to advance sales after that," she said.

Sun Beatzz brought their newly released EP to China and toured more than 20 cities from July. Xi'an was their final stop.

As one of the second Silk Road International Arts Festival shows, the concert featured musicians from the US, Italy, Slovenia and China offering the audience the chance to appreciate cultures from different countries.
