The fourth Mongolian Dance Competition kicks off in Huhhot

The fourth Mongolian Dance Competition will be held in Huhhot in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region from Sept 14 to Sept 20.

Over 2,000 participants enrolled in the competition for 98 programs. They were chosen from a primary selection that began in Janurary. The 98 enrolled programs come from over 40 institutes, military art troupes, art schools and universities in China.

The Mongolian Dance Competition is the highest level of professional dance competition for China's Mongolian dance. It has been held for three consecutive years since its establishment in 2004.
