Enjoying a British-style party at its Open Day

On the occasion of celebrating the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death as well as the Queen’s 90th Birthday, the British Embassy, in partnership with Xiaozhan Education, held its second Open Day event at the British Ambassador’s residence on June 25.

A total of 1,200 social media followers enjoyed the event by participating in a series of activities including listening to speeches on British culture, watching Shakespeare-related dramas and tasting British food.

Meanwhile, more than 30 exhibitors ranging from education, culture, tourism to sports, airlines and e-commerce institutions set booths to promote Sino-UK relations.
