A new model for music training

According to Fan Tao, art director of the concert, the Young Artist Solo Symphony Concert represents the pioneering efforts to combine solo musical performance with professional philharmonic orchestras on one stage in China to gear itself into an international performing style.

“We want to arouse the interest of young people in learning music in a creative fashion. Making young people enjoy the feeling of performing is the original intention for holding such an event. However, due to various limitations, quite a few young artists cannot perform in a high-level stage. Therefore, we would offer a stage for them,” Fan added.

Chai Liang, commander of Beijing Accent Symphony Orchestra said: “It is no easy task for young artists to realize their dreams in the highly competitive arts market. As the old Chinese saying goes, only a good judge of talent can judge a good talent.”

“In the preparation stage, I communicated with all the performers to better understand them. Through one-to-one training, I hope to maximize the shining points of everyone in the stage. Only in this way can we gain the beautiful smiles of these tiny performers,” the commander said.
