After a three-year gap, Taiwan singer-songwriter Faith Yang is back with her latest album, Centrifugal Force.

Released on Nov 16, the album has five songs written by Beijing-based Yu Zeng and Huang Shaofeng, the producer duo of Radio Mars, featuring electronic dance music and rock beats.

The title track, Centrifugal Force, captures the "loneliness in a relationship".

Yang, 42, was born in Taipei and grew up in Sydney. She rose to fame after her debut album, One, released in Taiwan in 1997.

Her Gothic-inspired rock tracks Silence, Fear and Monster have won her a large following.

In 2000, Yang won the Taiwan Golden Music award for best female performer for her album Silence. She returned with Continuation in 2007 and released English album Self-Selected two years later.
