UK sensation Adele will finally tour Australia in early 2017.

Announcing on social media Tuesday, the multi-award winning singer said she'll make her debut in February and March 2017, beginning with a performance in Perth before travelling around the country with an "in the round" stadium show.

"I was wondering if after 10 years in this game you'd finally like to meet me in: Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide?" the singer said in a hand written note posted on Twitter, making reference to her 2015 hit Hello to announce the news.

"Yep, I am coming down under!"

The Australian tour will mark the last dates of her 107-date whirlwind trek that began in February.

Promoters say the 360-degree "in the round" style will create intimacy with the crowds despite the large venues.
