Cultural platform Yong Xin Hua Yun was granted the year's top award – the National Innovation Achievement Award by CIUR association. The purpose of the annual symposium, held in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, is to "integrate innovative resources, build innovative platforms, enhance innovative ability, and transform research achievement", through the collaboration of industry, university and research institutes.

"The ‘new normal' economy needs the stimulation from cultural industry," said Li Yongjun, chairman of Yong Xin Hua Yun, during his speech. "The development of cultural industry also needs the boost from market innovation."

He explained that collaborative innovation and integration development of the cultural industry is becoming a competitive edge for companies. It will offer scientific support and create a new innovative cross-border system for the development of culture.

"As a leading member in ICH protection, we will continue to integrate cultural resources and explore market for ICH," he said. "So the world can learn more from each other in ICH protection."

Over a thousand participants, experts and scholars from the government, academies and industry attended the symposium on Nov 26-27.
