Chinese director claims best directing prize at Morocco's Marrakech film festival

Chinese director Wang Xuebo claimed on Saturday the Best Directing Prize at Marrakech film festival for his movie "Knife in the Clear Water".

Wang Xuebo's debut feature film focuses on the mutual understanding between a man and a cow.

Born in December 1984, Wang Xuebo started his film career in 2013 as a producer of films.

"Knife in the Clear Water", his first feature as a director, started as a project in 2010 and was completed in 2016.
