The Dawns Here Are Quiet Opera

The Dawns Here Are Quiet was commissioned last year by the National Center for the Performing Arts to mark the 70th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War. It is based on the former Soviet Union writer Boris Lvovich Vasilye's novel with the same title.

In a realistic way with a romantic mood, the novel tells the story of five female soldiers invading German troops in the World War II, and praises their sacrifice and optimism.
