Following the completion of M+ Pavilion, three exhibitions will be displayed from next month till May 2017, including a solo show on Hong Kong artist Tsang Kin-wah, a display of the M+ design collection and a multimedia show to examine women's identity in Hong Kong's popular culture since the 1980s.

M+ is considered to be a new landmark in Hong Kong's cultural scene, focusing on fine art, design and architecture of the 20th and 21st centuries. The bulk of its collection is contemporary Chinese art works donated by the Swiss collector Uli Sigg from the 1970s to present.

Designed by three Hong Kong-born young architects, M+ Pavilion is the first complete permanent structure in the West Kowloon Cultural District. It will stage a series of thematic exhibitions including displaying selections from the M+ collection, before the pavilion’s main building is opened in 2019.
