Kuangshi Hong Kong's autumn sales on Nov 27 and 28 will auction dozens of traditional Chinese paintings, ceramics and works of modern and contemporary art.

Highlights include Blessings, a color ink painting of Qi Baishi, in which peaches and pomegranates imply productivity in Chinese culture and the detailed portraying of two dragonflies shows Qi's sophisticated techniques.

A hexagon vase of sky-blue glaze dated to the period of Qing (1644-1911) emperor Qianlong will also go under hammer. It is from a private Japanese collection.
