China Post to issue special PLA stamps

The People's Liberation Army will mark the 90th anniversary of its founding on Aug 1.

China Post will issue a commemorative set of stamps on that day, showing soldiers from the PLA's ground force, navy, air force, rocket force, strategic support force and armed police force.

China Post will also release two photo albums of stamps, paintings and postcards that feature some of the country's top weapons. One album is designed for children and teenagers, and tells stories of military heroes who are devoted to both national defense and UN peacekeeping missions.
