On Feb 7, the Second Youth Fencing Competition in 2015 was held in the training base for juniors. Nearly 100 fencers from across Hunan Province to attend this competition. The youngest fencer is only six years old.

The training base for junior fencers was established last year. After promoting Fencing for one year, the club set up by the director of the training base has attracted more than 400 members, who separately come from seventy schools across Changsha. In 2015, the second fencing hall affiliated with the club will open for business.

It is reported that Tsinghua University, Zhongshan University and even Ivy League prefer enrolling applicants who are fencers. The top-notch players have opportunity to attend professional training. That's why these children show enthusiasm for fencing.
