Changsha won itself another "National Civilized City" at the National Convention for Awarding the Construction of Spiritual Civilization and Learning-from-Leifeng Voluntary Service held yesterday. Besides, Changsha county, Liuyang city, and Ningxiang County received the nomination of "National Civilized City (County)". The national civilized urban agglomeration is taking shape. Yi Lianhong, the member of the Standing Committee of Hunan Province and Secretary of Changsha Municipal Committee attended the meeting.

Since Changsha had won "the third National Civilized City" in 2011, under the correct leadership of the standing committee of Changsha and Changsha government, all the level of units and the masses in Changsha met all challenges, strove to overcome difficulties, aiming at establishing a higher level of civilized city. With its living standards raising significantly, citizen's quality improving notably, a happy, delicacate and lovely Changsha is walking for us. The Central Civilization Committee has made evaluations and visitations on Changsha for several times, and entrusted the Provincial Civilization Committee to test. At the end, all the results were good. After the comprehensive assessment by the Central Civilization Committee, Changsha continues to hold a post of "National Civilized City", and Changsha county, Liuyang city, and Ningxiang County received the nomination of "National Civilized City (County)".

This convention awarded the national civilized cities, towns and units. In Changsha, 6 towns won "the Fourth National Civilized Towns", which are Yongan town, Liuyang city; Baimaqiao township, Ningxiang county; Lianhua town, Yuelu district; Jinlong village, Changsha county; Wufeng village, Yuelu district and Guangming village, Wangcheng district. In addition, 7 units won "the Fourth National Civilized Units", which are Changhua community, Yuelu district; Qingshuitang Rd. Community, Kaifu district; Liaojiawan community, Yuehua district; Yeahcome Co.Ltd; Hunan Xichen Industrial Co.Ltd; 303 group of Hunan Nuclear Geology Bureau and Changsha Auditing Bureau.

Cao Lijun, the deputy mayor of Changsha and the secretary of Changsha Municipal Committee, Yang Yiwen, the party committee secretary of Changsha Economic Development Zone and the Changsha county secretary, and Li Chunqiu, the party committee secretary of Ningxiang Economic Development Zone and the Ningxiang county secretary attended the meeting.
