June 20 (Milano time) was the Dragon Boat Festival Related Chu Culture of Hunan Week at Expo Milano 2015. Hunanese representatives attending Hunan Week, together with international friends, made zongzi, a traditional Chinese food made of glutinous rice stuffed with different fillings and wrapped in bamboo, reed, or other large flat leaves, and recited the Chinese poem Lisao written by Qu Yuan (342BC-278BC), a patriotic Chinese poet and minister of the Chu State, to celebrate the festival at Milano, Italy.

At noon, the Hunan delegation held the opening ceremony and cultural exchange luncheon for Hunan Cuisine Week, inviting Chinese and international guests to make zongzi, watch Hunan opera, taste Hunan cuisine, and drink Hunan wine.

To let more international friends enjoy zongzi, the delegation led by Vice Governor of Hunan Province He Baoxiang handed out ten thousand zongzi to the national pavilions of many countries at the expo park at 14:00.
