Jiangxi Normal University launched an entrepreneurship training program – Start Your Business (SYB) -- for its students on Sept 19.
About 90 students attend the 7-day program, the first of its kind in the university.
Zhang Yanguo, vice-president of the univesrity, emphasized the importance of innovative thinking for students and the development of the country in his speech at the commencement ceremony.
He said he hopes the students will benefit from the program through hard work and innovative thinking.
SYB, part of the Start and Improve Your Business program, was developed by the International Labor Organization and aims to provide tailored training for those who plan to set up small and medium enterprises.
