VeryCD.com, one of the country's largest file-sharing sites, said Wednesday it is down due to a server problem and will be accessible by Thursday noon. The site became inaccessible around 2:30 pm Wednesday, sparking speculations that it was ordered to be closed. The state film and TV administrator has recently closed several large file-sharing sites such as BTChina, saying they do not have a license to distribute audio and video content. |
