Chinese Internet portal firm Sohu and video sharing firm Ku6 will set up a fund to buy licenses to show Hollywood movies and TV shows on their websites, Ku6 said Tuesday. The 2 firms will invest up to $10m in total for the fund, the first of its kind in China. Ku6 has removed all pirated Western media contents from its website and banned individuals from sharing them.
