Mary J. Blige has a new best friend - rapper 50 Cent.The singer hasn't been able to stop gushing about the hip-hop star since he got involved in the production of the video for her new single, "Enough Cryin."

She is quoted in Scotland's Daily Record newspaper as saying: "Me and my husband took him as friend. He's someone we know we can talk to and call on if we have a question because, quite frankly, 50 is very intelligent and we really appreciate his expertise and we really appreciate his opinions."

Meanwhile, 50 Cent is set to record a song with Michael Jackson. The rapper's G-Unit bandmate, DJ Whoo Kid, recently met up with the "Billie Jean" singer, during a trip to Bahrain, and discussed plans for the pair to come together for an unlikely collaboration.

The hip-hop star even gave Jackson a tape with the proposed track on so he could listen to the music before making a decision.

DJ Whoo revealed: "I gave Michael some music. I'm trying to get him to do a song with 50. It will be like the Jackson Two or something."
