Following close behind with four nominations are Guatemalan popster Ricardo Arjona, Mexican singer-songwriter Julieta Venegas and Argentinian guitarist and vocalist Gustavo Cerati.
Besides them all, there's also the likes of Puerto Rican group Calle 13 who gets three nominations, Andrea Bocelli who's been nominated for Best Male Pop Vocal Album for "Amor", and Black Eyed Peas vying for Record Of The Year for their collaboration with Sergio Mendes on "Mas Que Nada".
The nominations were announced Tuesday September 26th in New York. This year's awards will be presented Nov. 2 at New York's Madison Square Garden and broadcast live on the Univision.
