Actor Brad Pitt has slammed fellow Americans for having an unrealistic view of Africa, for most of them consider the continent to be a romantic destination.
The Ocean's Eleven star says Morocco is a hot favorite amongst tourists because they consider it to be a romantic location, but in reality the culture that prevails there is very different from what exists in the US, and visiting the place means that people should prepare themselves for a different lifestyle.
"There are Americans who think it would be romantic to go off to Morocco but never think what would happen if they got into an accident,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
"They've grown up with the idea of having a pharmacy down the road; whatever they need, they can have," he said.
Pitt's first child with lover Angelina Jolie, Shiloh Nouvel, was born in Namibia earlier this year. (ANI)
