It's time for fans of the all-girl pop band Spice Girls to rejoice, for Baby Spice Emma Bunton has revealed that it’s only a matter of time before the group reunites.
In an interview with The Sun the singer, who is currently the bookies' favourite to win BBC1 hit Strictly Come Dancing, revealed that the girls were definitely looking forward to getting together once again.
At the same time, Bunton warns fans not to get too excited because the reunion won't be happening in the 'next year or so'.
“It would definitely be great at some point but everybody is so busy with their own projects at the moment. It doesn’t look likely for the next year or so,” The Sun quoted her, as saying.
However, she insists that it was more a question of 'when' rather than ‘if’ for the group.
“But we all want to do it — it's more of a question of when, not if,” the singer added.
Bunton also insisted that though the girls, Victoria Beckham (Posh), Mel C (Sporty), Mel B (Scary), Geri Halliwell (Ginger) and herself (Baby) live in different places and different countries, they still remained the best of pals.
“We all live in different places, in different countries. But there was such chemistry between us. We were really close — that doesn't just go. At the end of the day there is no one else who knows what we went through,” she said.
“I can't pick up the phone to have a giggle and a laugh about things that happened with anyone else. We share the same stories and memories,” Bunton revealed.
