New York : British beauty Sienna Miller's pals are a worried lot these days, for she has been "living" tragic Andy Warhol muse Edie Sedgwick's life of excess boozing and partying.
According to the Daily Mail, Miller's pals fear that her life is in "danger" of spiralling out of control, and all because she has been "adopting" the lifestyle of Sedgwick even while not filming "Factory Girl".
"Her friends say . . . her life was in danger of spiraling out of control. They say she adopted Edie's mannerisms on and off the set, dieted ruthlessly to attain her painfully thin appearance while still drinking freely, and flirted with Sedgwick's dissolute lifestyle, socializing with [Andy] Warhol prot?g?s who are known drug-takers," the paper said.
However the movie's producer Holly Wiersma insisted to the New York Post that the rumours were "ridiculous", and said that the actress would not have been able to complete filming in the short period of time if she was high on alcohol and partying.
"It's ridiculous. There's no way she could have shot this in 27 days if she had been like that. She was being Edie, but being Edie in a responsible way," the New York Post quoted her, she saying.
But while Wiesrma is denying such claims, Miller admits in February's Esquire that she has taken on some of Edie's characteristics.
"For maybe two months after we wrapped, I was still running around and acting a little bit crazy, like I was still in character . . . It's really quite fun being Edie Sedgwick," she tells the mag. (ANI)
