LOS ANGELES - He's an actor, Grammy-winning singer and two-time Best Burp Award-winner. Now Justin Timberlake can add another title to his resume: awards-show host.
Timberlake has been tapped to host Nickelodeon's 20th annual Kids' Choice Awards on March 31 at the University of California, Los Angeles."I'm revving up to have an even bigger blast than usual" at the ceremony, said Timberlake, 27, who is nominated for best male singer along with Chris Brown, Jesse McCartney and Sean Paul. "While honoring kids' opinions, it taps into the kid in all of us."
Timberlake previously won three Kids' Choice Awards, including favorite musical group ('N Sync) in 1999 and best burp in 2003 and 2006.
The best movie nominees are "Big Momma's House 2," "Click," "Night at the Museum," "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest."
Best male movie star nominees are Jack Black, Johnny Depp, Adam Sandler and Will Smith. Female movie star nominees are Halle Berry, Dakota Fanning, Keira Knightley, Sarah Jessica Parker.
"Cars," "Happy Feet," "Ice Age: The Meltdown," "Over the Hedge" are in the running for best animated movie. Best television show nominees are "American Idol," "Drake & Josh," "Fear Factor," "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody."
The Kids' Choice Awards honor favorites in film, TV, music, sports, video games and books. Kids can vote online beginning March 5.
