Nelly Furtado, rockers Billy Talent and hip-hop star K-OS are leading the way at this year's Juno Awards in Canada, with five nominations each.
Furtado, who will host the April 1, 2007, ceremony in Saskatoon, is named in the Artist Of The Year and Fan Choice Award categories. Her Promiscuous is up for Best Single, while her Loose disc is nominated for Best Album and Best Pop Album.
Billy Talent's Devil In A Midnight Mass is up for Best Single and Best Video, while their Billy Talent II disc is in the running for Best Album and Best Rock Album. The band is also nominated for Best Group.
K-OS is nominated for Best Single (Sunday Morning), Best Pop Album (Atlantis: Hymns For Disco), Best Producer, Best Songwriter and Best Video.
Dixie Chicks, Il Divo, Justin Timberlake, Madonna and Red Hot Chili Peppers will battle it out for the Best International Album gong.
