Actress Lindsay Lohan and directors Quentin Tarantino and Martin Scorsese are also due to attend the French festival, which opened today.
Steven Soderbergh's Ocean's Thirteen and Michael Moore's controversial documentary Sicko are among the films to be premiered at the event, while Tarantino's Death Proof will compete against David Fincher's Zodiac, Gus Van Sant's Paranoid Park, and James Gray's We Own the Night, among others, for the prestigious Palme d'Or.
The 60th Cannes Film Festival runs until May 27.
