Britney Spears has put her Beverly Hills mansion on the market for £3 million - just days after a probe into the safety of her swimming pool.

Ex-husband Kevin Federline called child protection services, claiming she didn't have the required safety barriers around the pool, according to reports from the US.

Britney and her new companion Daimon Shippen have moved into the Four Season's hotel

The singer has been forced to relocate to the Four Seasons Hotel with her manny, bodyguard and sometime date Daimon Shippen and her two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston.

The Tuscan villa-style home boasts sixbedrooms, a media room and maids' quarters, and the pop superstar is offering her furniture as an added incentive. Spears's Malibu mansion is also up for sale for £6 million.

Despite keeping close company with her Shippen, including intimate dinners, some sources are claiming it's a strictly professional relationship.

An insider told People magazine: "She doesn't have a nanny. When the kids are with her she takes care of them and she is a very hands-on mum.

"Daimon also sometimes helps her with the kids. She really would like to have them for more time than she does but she is willing to live with the agreement with Kevin (Federline) that she has now."
