Teri leads Housewives pack in promotional blitz

Teri Hatcher and her Desperate Housewives co-stars have posed up - and been retouched - for yet more promotional shots ahead of the upcoming series return.

Their first red hot photo shoot, which featured all five stars strutting out of a blaze of flames, has this time been replaced by a more smouldering look.

Hatcher, doing her best to channel her a domestic goddess, is pictured in a thigh-baring hot pink dressing gown, while Marcia Cross, Nicollette Sheridan, Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman opted for figure hugging frocks.

The creator Marc Cherry says there are a number of surprises in store when the show returns for its fourth season.

He told the Orlando Sentinel: "There will be an appearance by Miss Sheridan in our first episode, and it will be amazing."

Sheridan's character Edie Brit appeared to kill herself in the cliff-hanger final episode of season three.
