China National Film Museum will screen 25 documentaries originating from Central Newsreels and Documentary Film Studio, until July 31.
The museum has also donated five of the screened documentaries, including My Country and Road to Revival to the museum.
My Country depicts role models such as the oil field worker Wang Jinxi, scientist Deng Jiaxian and rural schoolteacher Li Guilin.
Road to Revival is a film version of the music and dance epic with the same name, reviewing China's history over the past century.
Set up in 1953, China National Film Museum boasts a library of 420,000 minutes of documentaries, recording many of the historic events and figures of China.
