Chang Sisi won gold in the folk genre at the recent Eighth China Music Golden Bell Award ceremony in Guangdong province's capital Guangzhou.
The 24-year-old singer took silver in the folk category of last year's Golden Bell.
She was invited to perform at Spanish tenor Placido Domingo's Great Wall concert in Beijing in celebration of the 30th International Peace Day. Chang performed Libiamo Ne' Lieti Calici from La Traviata with the tenor.
As a solo vocalist of the Haizheng Art Troupe, Chang is best known for the folk song Spring Ballet.
