Remembering Mozart

The Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, one of the leading symphony orchestras in the world, will play at the Forbidden City Concert Hall inBeijingwith English-born conductor Ivor Bolton. Bolton was appointed to the role in 2000 and is acclaimed for his extensive output. Mozart's widow Constanze - along with his sons Franz Xaver and Karl Thomas - established the orchestra in 1841. A total of 91 musicians make up the orchestra and they will bring classics including Overture to The Marriage of Figaro, Overture to Don Giovanni and Violin Concerto No 3 in G major.
