Kate Hudson to launch eco-friendly haircare range

In her bid to save the environment, Kate Hudson in collaboration with her stylist, is all set to launch a new range of cruelty-free, environmentally-friendly hair products.
When she read about all the chemicals that she applies to her scalp while washing her hair, the 29-year-old star felt like doing something about it.
Her new David Babaii For WildAid line has a range of shampoos and conditioners that are free of compounds, like sulphates and petrochemicals, harmful for the environment.
"All these things that we use to penetrate the scalp and our skin, some of them are the worst things we can put on our body," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.
"It's very difficult to make a purely organic product that can pass the sustainability test and that can have a shelf life, but we came up with our shampoos, and we did it. It lathers, it works. I use it, and it doesn't have all the bad stuff in it," she added.
She also said that it took two years of developing and testing to create this new haircare range.
In fact, she personally tested them on her famous blonde mane, and the eco-friendly range is so successful that she will soon be working on a new cosmetics line.
