"Skin regenerates every three weeks. (Callouses and corns) are a result of neglect. You don't have to live with them," he explains.
"Hands are more adaptable than any machine and people should understand that by doing massage, they can help themselves and extend our treatment."
The pedicures may be pricey but Gonzalez himself advises clients to commit to home care to extend the benefits of such an expensive and exclusive treatment. He emphasizes on educating the clients.
"Consuming luxury is not just having something expensive but understanding why it is expensive. The basis of this pedicure is education," he says.
"People should understand why and how this system works. That is already 80 percent of the cure. Ninety-nine percent of problems can be fixed and the start of this cure is the foot massage (including stretching the toes and legs) which allows elasticity and mobility to return. Callouses, for example, are just a reaction of the skin and the best defense is elasticity."
Another issue Gonzalez constantly harps on is friction from shoes, for which there is a simple solution: massage with foot cream and a sprinkle of talcum powder on feet and the insides of shoes.
Gonzalez is committed "not just to building a brand but a leading brand". To sustain his ambition as the world's top "foot virtuoso", his group participates in numerous international events, such as the Cannes and Dubai film festivals, the US Open in New York, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the Monte Carlo TV Festival and New York Fashion Week.
With the experience of 38,000 pedicures clocked in 2012, the best foot forward is yet to come.
