From Giorgio Armani to Vivienne Westwood, Shanghai Fashion Week is always in dire need of some international glamour to grab more attention. This year, Italian haute couture master Giambattista Valli has arrived in the city with 40 looks. With an all-Asian catwalk line up, the show is highlighted by two blue-and-white multi-tiered ball gowns made exclusively for Shanghai, a city the designer describes as having "the fresh energy of New York 20 years ago".
