The Ivory Coast were at risk of being eliminated from the World Cup by Greece, who scored their first goal of the tournament just before halftime. If the lead held, the Euro 2004 winners would have continued their miraculous ways by reaching the knockout stage by scoring just one goal in three matches.

And Ivory Coast goalkeeper Boubacar Barry celebrated by jamming a wad of grass in his mouth and showing it to the camera behind his goal.
