Practice cooking with Michelin chef at Sofitel Wanda Beijing

Sofitel Wanda Beijing will host Michelin star chef Sebastien Sanjou to present a week long French gastronomic festival from March 28 to April 1. The daily event varies from a wine dinner, champagne dinner and cooking class, where you can learn top cooking skills from the Michelin chef himself and eat the food too.

Sanjou is from La Mongie in the south of France. He opened his own restaurant, Le Relais des Moines, when he was only 20. The restaurant was previously used as a canteen for monks and quickly became a well-known restaurant in the region. He obtained his star in the Michelin Guide in 2013, and has deep knowledge of his region and its local produce. His plates are generally light, simple and based on local authentic produce, with a touch of the modern.
