Xiamen Lighting Festival ends with spectacular show

Xiamen's roughly one-month long Lighting Festival came to an end on Oct 14 with a spectacular show in Xiamen Yuanboyuan Expo Garden. The event attracted thousands of viewers from Xiamen and neighboring cities like Zhangzhou, Quanzhou and Longyan.

The light-hearted closing ceremony wowed the audience by featuring Chinese cross-talk performances, vocal imitation, lion dances, martial arts, and Guzheng music performances in combination with a 3D lighting show designed by the Beijing Olympics graphic supplier. Sand drawings and Chinese calligraphy style lighting performances created a dazzling scene for viewers.
